Jeffery Banning To All Instructors

Jeff and his wife, Julie, are devoted Christians and have been married over 44 years. They have 6 grown children. They home-schooled them all K-12. Jeff worked as an industrial chemist for over 35 years. He feels he has had the most wonderful career as a chemist and always desired to give the Lord all the glory for every success he had in that career [see John 3:30]. He was able to do some amazing things during his career and was able come up with pretty cool demos as a result of spending almost 45 years in the lab [that includes the 9 years he spent in college]. He wants to excite a new generation of young Christians in the area of science and chemistry and show them that they can be scientists while being a devoted follower of the Lord.
Jeff have taught over 100 home school students a college preparatory chemistry course through a HS-Coop in Oregon, from 2001 to 2018. In the spring of 2025, he taught 10 students a class entitled “Concepts in Chemistry” at the Centex Coop. He has also performed chemical demonstrations/chemical magic shows to thousands of grade school through high school students throughout his career. In the fall of 2025, he taught the first semester of this two-semester course, entitled; HIGH SCHOOL GENERAL CHEMISTRY COURSE
Jeff holds over 150 US patents in the areas of dye chemistry, polymer chemistry and organic/polymer synthesis. His wife has a MS degree in mathematics. He has a PhD in Organic Chemistry.
